| Cresselia is a legendary Pokémon featured in both Pokémon Diamond and Pokémon Pearl. Cresselia appears as a background hazard in Super Smash Bros. Brawl, in the unlockable stage Spear Pillar, along with Dialga and Palkia. When Cresselia appears on the stage, it will shoot blade-like energy beams (which resemble boomerangs) which fly freely around the stage hurting anyone it comes in contact with. Cresselia may also sometimes use Psycho Cut, which sends a sharp beam straight down throught the center of the stage.

| A Lunar Pokémon. Cresselia appears on Fullmoon Island and, once discovered, flies around different areas of Sinnoh. Its signature move, Lunar Dance, causes Cresselia to faint but recovers all the HP and cures the status conditions of the next Pokémon its Trainer sends out. Cresselia excels at recovery techniques and is unusual in that it appears only in female form.
