This isn't very informative. I could've sworn this had more information before. Zakor1138 (talk) 14:14, 19 August 2012 (EDT)
Should we have an actual page for battle courses?[edit]

The title says all. We do have pages for classic courses, new courses, and even remix courses, so shouldn't we do the same with battle courses? WildWario (talk) 02:18, August 8, 2022 (EDT)
- Late, but yes. 2 things though. 1. We need to cover not just the ones from SMK & MK:SC, but all the ones after, and 2. What do we do with the battle course information in Classic courses & New courses? SONIC123CDMANIA+&K(B&ATSA) (talk) 08:35, April 25, 2024 (CST)
- "Race course" and "battle course" denote which mode a course belongs to, while classic/new/remix denote the course's relationship to the Mario Kart series. These are two separate classification systems, and "battle course" not having its own article is consistent with "race course" not having its own article. I'm not sure if there's much of a point in having articles for these two since their distinguishing characteristics are already described elsewhere (i.e. Battle Mode), and this wiki uses the same terminology for Diddy Kong Racing, where battle courses function completely differently.
