The Barrel Train is a locomotive operated by Donkey Kong that appears in Mario Party 8. It appears exclusively on the board Shy Guy's Perplex Express.
The Barrel Train appears whenever a player lands on a DK Space, replacing the train's current locomotive, which could be either Shy Guy's standard one or Bowser's Bad-Breath Express. In Battle Royale and Tag Battle, the first player who reaches the Barrel Train is given a free Star from Donkey Kong. In Duel Battle and Star Battle Arena, Donkey Kong doubles the player's coin total, but he gives 10 coins to players who have none.
