Bowlers[1] are enemies in Wario Land 4. These pudgy yet powerful humanoid creatures summon big spherical rocks from the ground regularly before throwing them in Wario's direction. Shortly after a rock has disappeared from the screen or is destroyed from Wario ground pounding, a Bowler summons a new one. When not throwing a rock, they simply move back and forth within a small area and cannot hurt Wario by themselves. However, Bowlers are immune to most of Wario's attacks and only stop for a short moment when he touches them. Bowler can be defeated from a ground pound only. Bowlers are encountered in the Fiery Cavern only, where activating the switch changes the temperature radically, changing every Bowler into a Yeti.
