Gems are collectible items in DK: Jungle Climber. They come in three different types: green gems are worth one, blue gems are worth five, and red gems are worth ten. By collecting 100 gems, Donkey Kong can obtain up to six Crystal Stars, which can be used to gain temporary invincibility.
