Metroid Dread is one of 9-Volt's microgames in WarioWare: Move It!. It is based on the Nintendo Switch game of the same name.
Gameplay[edit]
Samus is running in a set direction. The direction she runs in is determined by the dominant hand of the player. The player must crouch down to the ground when Samus is below the Boost Blocks to make her perform a Shinespark and collect an Energy Tank, resulting in the microgame being cleared. If the player crouches too early or too late, the microgame is failed; crouching too early results in Samus crashing into the ceiling and being attacked by an enemy, causing her to break her Power Suit and die, while Samus falls off if she overshoots the area.
- Level 1: The crouching area is five blocks wide.
- Level 2: The crouching area is four blocks wide.
- Level 3: The crouching area is two blocks wide.
