Biff is actually a pretty nice guy when not provoked and will simply ignore Luigi if he enters the [[Rec Room]], where Biff resides lifting weights, and Luigi can do likewise. Biff also likes lillies because "they represent purity".

In order to provoke Biff into attacking him, Luigi must smack one of the nearby punching bags which will hit Biff and cause him to come swinging at Luigi. This still doesn't expose Biff heart, so Luigi will have to smack Biff two more times with any punching bag. After taking the hits, Biff will be knocked out and vulnerable to Luigi's attack. Unfortunatly this attack wakes Biff up and causes him to pull against the Poltergust 3000. If Luigi fails to catch him on the first go Biff will return to weightlifting and Luigi must hit him with a punching bag again (this time just one hit will knock him out).

Biff Atlas is an optional portrait ghost in Luigi's Mansion and its remake. He is a weightlifter with a muscular turquoise body, a rectangular head with a blond flattop, a chin with a small cleft, a muscular body, and green eyes. Biff Atlas wears a red tank top, reddish brown wristbands with yellow stripes, a brown belt with a gold buckle, and purple pants around his tail. Biff loves lilies, reflected in his platinum frame in the remake only. His first name is shared the slang term "biff," meaning to "to hit," while his last name is based on "Atlas," a titan in Greek mythology who was forced to hold up the sky. Biff portrait number in the Gallery is 16.[1]

When Luigi enters the Rec Room, Biff is focused on lifting a barbell, choosing not to attack him. If left alone, Biff struggles lifting the barbell but manages to succeed after a while if left alone, but the barbell can hurt Luigi upon being put down. Luigi can attack Biff by hitting a punching bag at him, angering Biff, who begins to swing his arms at Luigi, costing the latter twenty HP if hit. After the second hit, Biff attacks quicker, then after a third time, Biff collapses on the floor, exposing his heart and becoming vulnerable to the Poltergust 3000. If Biff is not caught in a single attempt, he resumes to his activity, though only a single hit from a punching bag leaves him vulnerable. After Biff is captured, a green treasure chest with money appears. Later on, a bust of Biff can be seen in The Artist's Studio.
