Gems are collectible items in DK: Jungle Climber. They come in three different types: green gems are worth one, blue gems are worth five, and red gems are worth ten. Collecting a total of one hundred gems grants Donkey Kong up to six Crystal Stars, which can be used to gain temporary invincibility.
