Something should be done about those images. Most of the article is made-up of nothing more than images associated with the game, leading to essentially a list-article. They either need to be closed-unless-opened, or have their sections provide at least some summary of what they are to allow for some "breathing space". The article also seems to be short on information, as most of the sections are rather short and written almost as if they came directly from the back of the box. I've taken the liberty of re-writing some of the sections and correcting the plethora of typos, but until this article is filled out more appropriately I really don't see how it qualifies as Featured. This is a featured article!

It represents the best of the best that the Super Mario Wiki has produced. If there are any edits that will improve the article's quality even further, make them.

Image Overload[edit]

Something should be done about those images. Most of the article is made-up of nothing more than images associated with the game, leading to essentially a list-article. They either need to be closed-unless-opened, or have their sections provide at least some summary of what they are to allow for some "breathing space". The article also seems to be short on information, as most of the sections are rather short and written almost as if they came directly from the back of the box. N64 affiliation[edit]

Can someone please tell me the affiliation there is with this game and the N64? SMB Deluxe is on gameboy color, but there is several references to the N64, like the unlockable artwork. And even the official Prima game guide also has an N64 symbol on it, rather than Gameboy Color symbol (see this image) Does anyone know why this is? Is it just because the N64 was around at the same time when this game was released?

is this game remake or an enhanced port[edit]

I suspect this game is really more of an enhanced port instead of a remake. new changes and additions are not enough for it to be a remake. it has to be coded from scratch.
The preceding unsigned comment was added by 68.193.247.75 (talk).

There are other differences. Luigi's palette is different, the "grey" Cheep-Cheeps underwater use the intended green (as in the original, graphics using the "green" palette underwater become grey, just as they become orange and turquoise underground), the ratchet scrolling is removed, and unless I'm mistaken, Piranha Plants have a visual glitch where their whole bodies can be seen at all times when emerging from pipes. Regional Differences[edit]

Two notes. I have a source for the new criteria to unlock album pages 4 and 5 here. It's a blog from a Japanese player. Secondly, there seems to be a misconception on the Challenge mode score bar minimum requirement. It's definitely not 896,000. I had just exceeded 1,160,00 when I filled the bar so it would seem that hasn't changed across regions.
