Hmmm...well in Firefox, the template looks fine, but in IE, the grayish-blue color is rendered as a dark blue. -- Son of Suns (talk)

Infobox usage

Why is this template used for the Mario and Donkey Kong cartoons while The Super Mario Bros. Super Show uses the Template:TV series infobox? It seems more logical to use the latter given that they're all television series. -- PanchamBro (talk • contributions) 18:02, June 3, 2022 (EDT)

I think that's because the SMBSS isn't completely animated while the others are. The live action segments take up a good chunk of a normal TSMBSS episode.

Alright, to settle this confusion as noted here, I'm proposing to merge this template with "TV series infobox". For "Cartoon infobox" to have been created around the same time as "TV series infobox", yet for some reason the latter being used on some cartoon pages and not other cartoon pages just feels off. Additionally, "TV series infobox" has more parameters to store information in comparison to this infobox (such as staff, runtime, and country of origin).
