Brighton is a character in Mario Party 6. He is a sun, hence why his name is a pun on "bright," and his moon counterpart is Twila.

Thomas (Tom) Grayson Brighton is a character who appears like a sun, who gets into a fight with the moon, Twila, in the game Mario Party 6. Brighton's name is a pun on "bright", owing to his resemblance to the sun. He was the one who started the feud by asking Twila, "Who's more impressive? You or me?" He refers himself to be "cooler" than Twila. Brighton also controls the board for three turns and switches off with Twila after the three turns are up. However, in Clockwork Castle, a player who lands on the Green Space at the top of the board has a 50/50 chance to change day to night instantly.

Once all pages in the Miracle Book are bought, Brighton and Twila see how much work everyone has done to fill the Star Bank. They both make up and promise to get along. As an award for their hard work, the sun and moon scatter the Stars across the sky, being seen miles away. Thus, he ended his feud with Twila. He also hosts Speak Up, Mic Mode and Solo Mode.
The German localization swaps the genders of Brighton and Twila to female and male, respectively, since the language uses masculine pronouns for the moon. Brighton and Twila both have voice clips in the Japanese release.

Brighton is a character in Mario Party 6. He is a sun, hence why his name is a pun on "bright," and his moon counterpart is Twila.

History[edit]

Mario Party 6[edit]

Brighton and Twila are introduced in the opening of Mario Party 6. They travel the world, said to always host parties on behalf of Mario and friends.[1] He begins an argument with Twila ever since he asks her who is more impressive. Every three turns, Brighton controls the board, changing it to day. The quiz game Speak Up, Mic Mode, and Solo Mode are all hosted by him. After Mario and the other protagonists unlock every page of the Miracle Book, using the Stars they have put into the Star Bank, Brighton and Twila recognize the heroes' effort, promising to get along, and launch all of the Stars into the night sky.[2]

The German localization swaps the genders of Brighton and Twila to female and male, respectively, since the language uses masculine pronouns for the moon. Brighton and Twila both have voice clips in the Japanese release.

Super Smash Bros. Brawl[edit]
