| '''Dark Cannons''' are a type of black gun in the [[Subspace Emissary]] of ''[[Super Smash Bros. Brawl]]''. [[Bowser]] and [[Wario]] each have their own Dark Cannons that they use. The Dark Cannons shoot out arrows that turn everyone it touches into a [[trophy]]. They are very large and take two hands to hold-they also take some time to charge up. They also feature a target that helps the one who uses it be able to aim at the one they want to shoot. The [[player]] never gets to use a Dark Gun as only the villains get to use them.

| Bowser's Dark Cannon is destroyed when, after shooting [[Diddy Kong]], he attempts to shoot [[Fox]], but [[Falco]] comes in and destroys the Dark Cannon with his [[Blaster]]. Wario isn't seen with the Dark Cannon after shooting [[Ness]] with it. Much later, when all characters go to [[Subspace (SSB)|Subspace]], [[Ganondorf]] uses the last Dark Cannon available to shoot Bowser. He then kicks the Dark Cannon away.
