| '''Spiky Tom''' was one of [[Bowser]]'s [[Koopatrol]]s guarding [[Peach's Castle]] during the events of ''[[Paper Mario]]''. Spiky Tom and his two friends ([[Mr. Hammer]] and an unnamed Koopatrol) were going to have a [[64th Trivia Quiz-off|quiz show]] however they needed one more person. That's when [[Princess Peach]] showed up and they all decided to let her play. Princess Peach won the quiz (obviously meaning Spiky Tom lost).

| Bowser then comes in the room wanting to join the quiz, however when Mr. Hammer and Spiky Tom tell him that the quiz is over, he gets angry. Bowser spots Peach and tells Spiky Tom and Mr. Hammer to toss Peach back in her room. Spiky Tom does so, and is never heard from again.
