In the original ''Super Smash Bros.'', if Kirby holds an opponent in his mouth, he would be unable to walk or jump until he spits or swallows the enemy. All he is limited to in movement is to turn around. This was fixed in ''Super Smash Bros. Melee''. If Kirby uses his [[Taunt]], he will lose the power that he gained. This can be taken as a downside or an upside.
