A few Urchins are encountered, along with some more Jet Pipes. A wall of Urchins is found, and can be defeated by the player or the Cheep Chomp. Some more Urchins are found, along with Cheep Cheeps. A ? Block is found, along with some Urchins moving up and down between jets of water. A wall of Cheep Cheeps is then encountered. The player must then go past some Jet Pipes, where a ? Block is found, followed by an area with Spiny Cheep Cheeps. After a row of Spiny Cheep Cheeps, a Warp Pipe is found.
