The Ultimate Test is the first mission of the Grandmaster Galaxy in Super Mario Galaxy 2. The mission's objective is to simply reach the end of the galaxy.
Mission[edit]
The player starts on a platform with a Yoshi Egg, and the Yoshi Star Galaxy music plays. Breaking Yoshi out of it, the player needs to use him to cross the flowers and avoid the Space Mines, Paragoombas, and Bullet Bills to reach the Launch Star at the end. Next is a series of Flipswitch Panels the player needs to activate while avoiding Sentry Beams to create a Launch Star. In the Electric Maze Area, the music changes to the music played in the first mission of Sky Station Galaxy.
