Regarding the mummy type[edit]
Considering the recent proposal to split the functionally identical Wario World enemies from each other, should this not follow the same principle and be split as well? It has more right to be split than Red Spike Top, at any rate. Doc von Schmeltwick (talk) 23:46, October 2, 2020 (EDT)
- Additionally, while it's not an ability of the enemy itself, the Mummy Goombas do have a unique gimmick in their battle arena when fought. Holes appear in the ground whenever Mario hammers it, and he can fall in and get stuck. Scrooge200 (talk) 00:40, October 3, 2020 (EDT)
- That's based on the setting it's fought in, not the behaviour of the enemy itself. I wouldn't say that itself is enough to warrant a split. Mario JC 06:33, October 3, 2020 (EDT)
- I'd have to say I agree, especially since only two of them are fought in the game, at a mandatory point, and I believe they do not appear from that point on. Their attack pattern is the same, and hammering them actually takes off the bandages, making it seem more like an asethetic. The only thing I would add, to this article, are the Collectible Treasure locations for each of them. Green Star 10:12, October 3, 2020 (EDT)
- I'm not sure about splitting the mummies if the difference is completely aesthetic, but I do believe the smaller type should be split, even with a conjectural name. Paper Macho Mini/Small Goomba? LinkTheLefty (talk) 09:16, October 27, 2020 (EDT)
- I always thought the small ones are different enough to get their own article so I agree. Same with the small, bucket-carrying Shy Guys in Fire Vellumental Cave. Mario JC 00:12, October 29, 2020 (EDT)
