Merge?[edit]

Seriously, its pretty much clear that the Pakkun Flower is just an ordinary Piranha Plant, given that it has it's Japanese name. Its name just got poorly localized.--Mr. Satran 11:29, 28 December 2007 (EST)

They look like Piranha Plants and actually behave like them. The name for most Super Mario Land enemies is unknown or conjectural, so I wonder where their English name came from. It's likely a Japanese source, so a merge should do it. - Cobold (talk · contribs) 12:23, 28 December 2007 (EST)

I agree with Mr. Satran, merge it. As Time Q said, the anme come from the Super Mario Land instuction booklet. I think one of the page on one of the enemy that appear in that game mention something about the translation being rushed.

Blitzwing

Yes, it's the Chibibo page. I also agree to merge. Time Questions 12:58, 28 December 2007 (EST)

*ahem* Since the overal conscensus is to merge this article, and that all evidence point out that "Pakkun Flower" is simply the poorly localized named of the Pirahna Plant rather than a different species altogether, is it possible to merge the article without having to run it throught the proposal page? Yes. Generally, the proposals page should only be used when there's no consensus, regarding splits & merges. - Cobold (talk · contribs) 11:40, 25 January 2008 (EST)
