See comments above. This page is an organizational mess. From what I can tell, it's covering three different subjects where their only similarity is that they're buckets. So I propose we split these three subjects for being too different from each other.

Yoshi's Island name[edit]

Is this name official for the item in Yoshi's Island? Time Questions 08:34, 18 August 2008 (EDT)

No, I don't think so. Is it in any guides? Fawfulfury65
I think they say they're buckets in the DS remake. --•Turkishcoffee «Talk» TC Personal Can.png 05:07, 13 May 2010 (EDT)
Yeah, one of the Hint Blocks in YIDS calls them buckets, IIRC. 30STM.PNG This Is War 30STM.PNG 15:30, 22 February 2011 (EST)

What to do?[edit]

What should be done with this page? It covers generic object in Mario & Wario, SMRPG, and an adventure book; an item in Paper Mario; and an object from Yoshi's Island and Yoshi's Island DS. This is an organizational mess. Scrooge200 (talk) PMCS Mustard Cafe Sign.png 00:21, September 30, 2019 (EDT)

Then organize it.

Seriously, though. Just section out whatever information there is for each appearance properly, fix the introductory description, and then thing should fall into place a bit quicker from there. --ExdeathIcon.png Lord G. matters. ExdeathIcon.png 00:27, September 30, 2019 (EDT)

See comments above. This page is an organizational mess. From what I can tell, it's covering three different subjects where their only similarity is that they're buckets. So I propose we split these three subjects for being too different from each other.

Just split Bucket (Yoshi's Island series)[edit]

Just split Bucket (Paper Mario)[edit]

  1. Doc von Schmeltwick (talk) It's apparently "marvelous," but as for M&W and YI, I feel it's like jellyfish; they're both generic objects that are the same thing even if they don't reference each other. or function the same.

Split both[edit]

  1. Toadette the Achiever (talk) My preferred option.
  2. Scrooge200 (talk) Per proposal and my above comment.
  3. FanOfYoshi (talk) Per all.
  4. Waluigi Time (talk) Per all.
  5. DarkNight (talk) Per all.
  6. Keyblade Master (talk) Per all.
  7. Benjaminkirsc (talk) Per all, mostly about Toadette the Achiever. Both articles should be spilt.
  8. MarioManiac1981 (talk) Per all. Let's clean up the clutter.
  9. ThatGuy777 (talk) Per all.

Split neither[edit]

Comments[edit]

@Doc: The Yoshi's Island buckets are also called "? Buckets" in one source, which I think may undermine your argument. Toadette icon CTTT.pngFont of Archivist Toadette's signature(T|C) 17:27, August 18, 2020 (EDT)

Good point. That is merely one source as far as I can tell, though, so it may be seen as merely a descriptor. I am curious of said iteration's name in other sources, English and otherwise. Doc von Schmeltwick (talk) 17:48, August 18, 2020 (EDT)
