Is this article good enough for FA? {{User:Super mario fan/sig}} 16:22, 20 February 2008 (EST)
:I don't think it qualifies for FA, when substracting the lists at the end it's rather short, but it can't be any more expanded. (Smash Bros. is not an argument though, the [[Super Smash Bros. Melee]] article got featured) - {{User:Cobold/sig}} 16:25, 20 February 2008 (EST)
::Yes, it's short, but in no way is he a minor subject.  The definition of minor was Spiny Shroopa, so... but I am aware that it would be one of the shorter articles.  Is that bad, though?  Anyway, I haven't read the whole thing over yet, but what I've seen is good. {{User:Stumpers/sig}} 16:27, 20 February 2008 (EST)

I recent edit of Kirby put it in the category 'Aliens'. This was reverted and whilst I do see the point for the revert, it has got me thinking is Kirby an alien. I mean he isn't from the Mushroom world, or Earth, he does live on a completely separate planet, so I was hoping for some other users thoughts on this. {{User|Yoshi876}}

:::What ''exactly'' is the definition of "Alien"? The source from the category page states, "Aliens are creatures from outer space or planets other than the [[Mushroom World]] or [[Earth]]." and I find it to be an ''extremely'' broad definition of an alien. {{User:Baby Luigi/sig}} 15:35, 18 June 2014 (EDT)

== Pics for the Kirby abilities ==
I asked this on {{user|Shokora}}'s page, but I figured I should get more than one response for this. I'm updating the list of abilities Kirby gets from the characters in the ''Smash Bros.'' series, but I'm wondering if the pics I use should include ''every'' variant of the character from all five games, or just the most recent showing of the character (for example, Mario's would show from ''Smash Wii U'' whereas Young Link would show ''Melee'''s). The pics that don't end up being used would be moved down to a Gallery. Of course, this would mean that we'd have to update the pics every time a new Smash is released, but I can work on that if no one else feels up to it.

This isn't something I think I should make a {{tem|TPP}} on, as I would like to get started on this, so thoughts? {{User:Alex95/sig}} 23:06, 26 November 2016 (EST)
:I think a recent showing of the character is a good bet, even if we're going to have pictures from Melee and having to update every now and then. Heck, we can even go through upload revisions if we're concerned about bloating the amount of Kirby images we have. And no, this likely won't need a talk page proposal. {{User:Bazooka Mario/sig}} 14:09, 27 November 2016 (EST)
::Uploading a new revision is fine, but I'd like to show other games variants as well. [[SmashWiki:List of Copy Abilities|Or should that be left up to the SmashWiki]]? {{User:Alex95/sig}} 14:12, 27 November 2016 (EST)
:::Showing all game variants sounds like a tad overkill, but I'm not against that. If you wish, it's best to stick it to a gallery. {{User:Bazooka Mario/sig}} 15:31, 27 November 2016 (EST)

::::I personally think that unless the same form changes drastically in appearance between one game and another, we should just be showing an image from the latest game (favouring the higher-detailed Wii U screenshots over the 3DS version's, if available). Any separate screenshots of forms from earlier games should indeed be kept to the gallery. Showing screenshots from all games would be a nice thing to have, but honestly our NIWA neighbor SmashWiki already sufficiently covers this. So I think that we could something a little different here, and place <tt><nowiki>{{seealso|SmashWiki:List of Copy Abilities}}</nowiki></tt> at the top of [[Kirby#Forms]]. Thoughts?

::::{{User:Shokora/sig}} 17:42, 27 November 2016 (EST)
:::::I'll agree with you both. Having pictures of all variants would be cool, but yeah, SmashWiki already covers this well enough. It's decided then, I shall use the most recent Smash pics for the list and link to the page on SmashWiki. Thanks for the input! {{User:Alex95/sig}} 17:46, 27 November 2016 (EST)

Forms[edit]

Shouldn't his froms be moved to Swallow? Mario riding YoshiXzelionETC

I don't think so, because after he uses his swallow technique, his ability becomes different and changes him physically, as well as replacing his Swallow ability. I think the neutral solution is to keep it here.Knife (talk) 13:49, 11 June 2007 (EDT)
