In DK: King of Swing, the Kremling Krew is renamed the Kremling Gang; should this be moved or something? -- Sir Grodus

Its used by K. Rool and Diddy Kong in-game, but the "g" in gang is lowercase, but when K. Rool says it for the first time, the text has a red font. -- Sir Grodus

Does anybody know when the first specific instance of the term "Kremling Krew" turned up? It appears to have first been used in the game Super Smash Bros. Melee, and later in DK: King of Swing. I'm trying to track down where this title originated from.--CM August 21:43, 16 November 2007 (EST)

I've looked through the DKC, DKL, DKC2, DKC3 and DKL3 manuals, no mentioning of the name Kremling Krew, so it either originates from SSBM or one of the following:

1. The DKC/DKL novellas.
2. DKL2
3. The Game Boy Color version of DKC.
4. DK64
5. Some media release or preview.

Sorry for this after a long while, but it appeared in the guild for it that I have. I think it is Nintendo Power.

... Yeah, but that's the closest thing we have to a newer official name. For what we know, "Kremling Krew" could just have refereed to the Pirate Crew of K.Rool in DKC2. --Blitzwing 06:29, 1 November 2008 (EDT)

Allies

...it kinda means what it says. :u The non-reptilian enemies like Gnawty and Zinger have their own "rulers" (Queen B., King Zing, etc.), who in turn answer to King K. Because the Koopa Troop is a similar yet entirely different beast. That is, before King Boo was introduced (SMB 3 and SMW should come immediately to mind), many Boos effectively served Bowser, and many still do if I recall correctly. i.e. most platformers, particularly in the NSMB series have Boos but lack King Boo - bit of a shame in my personal opinion, but my feelings are neither here nor there in the long run.
