Pokey variety?[edit]
While they look more "generic saguaro" than "Pokey," their JP name indicates they're just as much Pokey as Snifit. Not to mention, this is bleedin' Superstar Saga we're talking about, where established designs are about as important as collecting the 10th coin in a coin block. Anyways, I bring this up due to them dropping the "Pokey Flower" item in the remake. Doc von Schmeltwick (talk) 00:07, October 5, 2019 (EDT)
- Pls, the nonstandard design is what made Superstar Saga appealing.
More to the point, I suppose that could qualify them as a variant, though I feel like the JP name for Pokey is just sort of a default "that's what the call all cacti" thing. I wouldn't know though. -- Lord G. matters.

- 'Twasn't the case with a certain later cactus enemy from the same series, so.... Doc von Schmeltwick (talk) 00:33, October 5, 2019 (EDT)
- I'd say so, a few of the other foreign names indicate the same (Pretty sure Sanbo is a unique name for Pokey too).

- OK. Weird thing is I meant to bring this up like a year ago and just forgot to. Can I get to rewriting that now, then? Doc von Schmeltwick (talk) 01:12, October 5, 2019 (EDT)
