Preview button
Try to avoid making too many edits to one page, especially your user page, as this can clutter the page's history and flood the recent changes. Use the "Show preview" button next to the save button to check your work and continue editing, then save when you are ready to publish the edit. 16:52, 25 February 2019 (EST)
:Oh...I didn't realize my user page edits show up there, too! I thought saving frequently would prevent a lot of work having to be redone if I accidentally exited out. I will try to reduce this problem. Obsessive Mario Fan (talk) 14:52, April 10, 2019 (EDT)
::You can set the recent changes to only show certain namespaces (mainspace, userspace, files, etc.), but most people just keep it to the default everything as far as I know.
::You can also edit pages in a Word document or something, you can save as many times as you want to there, and then carry over the text to your userpage when it's done. Downside there is you can't preview any wiki changes :P 17:08, 25 February 2019 (EST)
:::Well, you can preview your changes and don't save them. I do think the WikiEd addon lets you save backups of changes, but it takes extra to load all those buttons, so I don't use it myself. 17:14, 25 February 2019 (EST)
::::I know I'm late here, but I recently decided that I would create my own sandbox to keep my unfinished revisions. User:Obsessive Mario Fan (talk) 22:02, May 16, 2019 (EDT)

Userpage
While getting to know you better is all well and good, you've been editing your userpage rather extensively over the past couple of days. Be sure to mix in some helpful edits as well! 18:16, 27 February 2019 (EST)

Enemy Counts
I noticed you added enemy counts for NSMBW World 1-4 and some levels of Super Mario World. I'm currently endeavoring to compile accurate enemy counts for SMB 1-3, SMW, and the NSMB games. Please feel free to double check my counts and/or add counts to pages that are empty if you want to help me in this.
:Enemy counts are one of the easier things to add, since I have access to a lot of level maps and videos. It's easier with levels that are more linear. Feel free to check any mistakes I make, too. :) Obsessive Mario Fan (talk) 16:26, April 23, 2019 (EDT)

Images
You don't need to add :Category:Game 3D renders to images, at that is automatically applied when you select the game-3Drender template. 19:54, May 3, 2019 (EDT)
:Also, abbreviations of game titles such as MKDS should still be properly capitalized as if they were fully spelt out, even in file names. 20:07, May 3, 2019 (EDT)

Editing my vote 14:14, May 11, 2019 (EDT)
:Sorry about that! Your votes were actually not there when I added mine. They must have disappeared due to a conflict. You probably started editing after I did, but saved your changes before I did.  Obsessive Mario Fan (talk) 14:20, May 11, 2019 (EDT)
::Either way, a reminder was supposed to be given, not a warning. OMF, you should probably check twice a page before editing it. Or maybe even check what revision of the page you are editing, since it can happen as well. 14:25, May 11, 2019 (EDT)
:::You should appeal this warning anyways, as it was obviously an accident. A formal reminder instead of an actual reminder would be better, as you never done anything bad, and mistakes like this can happen. 14:28, May 11, 2019 (EDT)
:::Good point... it should be up to the admins. Sorry for my misunderstanding. 14:41, May 11, 2019 (EDT)

User has apologized, and this is obviously a mistake, not one meant to cause trouble. This thing tends to happen when editing the whole page rather than a section, though, so maybe edit a specific section next time so the wiki alerts you when a conflict does happen in that spot. 15:52, May 11, 2019 (EDT)

RE:My gripe about level articles on the wiki
It seemed to me that many level articles just lack a lot of content. Pages for Wario Land II (see Avoid the rocks!), Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker (see Multi-Vator Mayhem), Yoshi's Woolly World (see Lava Scarves and Red-Hot Blarggs)... All of these have a lackluster introduction and a rushed layout section that skims over a couple of elements and doesn't go into any detail. Sometimes, these two sections are combined. They are not the worst of the wiki, though, because they at least contain information about important collectibles. By far the worst level articles pertain to Yoshi's New Island, which fail even in that regard, practically making them a complete waste of Internet space that doesn't benefit anybody. Wanna know where to find that elusive Smiley Flower in whatever level? Wanna look up it quickly without loading some video on YouTube and then sliding the progress bar where it might show the collectible? Well, too bad, you're not having any of that. My criticism is meant to raise awareness to that very point--that a level article should at least contain information about things that might be desirable for the reader to know. Actually, that applies to any article.

And yes... that means adding information about where to find the crafts and Poochy Pups in the most recent article you wrote. :P Just a little light criticism if you accept it... You're doing a good job otherwise. And an advice: if there is anything essential in a level, just anything that pretty much defines it in some way, you can write about it briefly in the introduction paragraph! For example, this level from Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze has you find different keys in order to open chests, which is mentioned at the beginning of its page. 17:35, May 18, 2019 (EDT)
:Thanks for the info! Also, I usually work on large projects in my sandbox, mostly edits that I don't think I can do in one sitting. Obsessive Mario Fan (talk) 18:28, May 18, 2019 (EDT)
::Oh, I didn't see those projects in your sandbox. I apologize. Keep up the good work! 18:33, May 18, 2019 (EDT)

"Vandalism"
This is actually true, as the way it was worded made it talk about the hidden wall where the P Switch is (on the left) then the hidden wall with the Star Coin. You should not automatically flag edits as vandalism and should see if they are true or not first. Even if the user's edit was false, it was so minor and the user was new enough that it should be assumed that an edit like that would be a mistake. Thanks for your understanding. 09:13, May 26, 2019 (EDT)
:Thanks for letting me know. I thought it seemed like vandalism, but we'll have to see what the user does next to know for sure. Obsessive Mario Fan (talk) 09:15, May 26, 2019 (EDT)

Thanks! (Re:Yarrctopus)
Thanks, I mean it. We can work on some articles together when we have some time, if you want - I know you are busy and all. I can upload any image from my computer. You can handle all the Super Mario Land levels and Wario: Master of Disguise levels, as I don't have any games like that. You can also work on the first few levels of Yoshi's Crafted World, as I see you have made progress on quite a few of those. I would like to have some info on a few of the enemies and mini-bosses, but I have just started the game, so it could take me a while. Likewise, you have started on Checkpoint Bell and Winged Timer Cloud, so you're good with those. If there is anything you want from me or want me to do, just let me know. --WigglyWiggler (talk) 14:40, June 9, 2019 (EDT)

Re: Not making conjectural articles
It's specifically for the Shy Guys and Ukirilla. Regarding the Ukirillas, i feel they should all be covered in one article, given that they are all separate individuals, and if they aren't, if they get merged, their page may risk deletion. Regarding the Shy Guys, we do have articles for some of the new variants, which are official names. However, some of them are not named, so if they turn out to be just normal Shy Guys with multiple behaviors, they may be deleted if they get merged. For the tinfoil Mel, which i didn't mention, same, it's best to cover it on the Mel article until we have an official name for it. Is there any Prima guide, and/or Shogakugan guide? -- 13:16, June 11, 2019 (EDT)
:Prima Games was discontinued due to a large decline in strategy guide sales, so I doubt there will be a guide from them. I don't know if there is or will be a Shogakugan guide. == Re:Profiles from digital manuals ==

Hey, thanks for noticing all the work I put into contributing the digital manual information! Honestly, I kind of just do whatever I can find that I have access to, since the 3DS I'm using to get the info isn't my own. I'm fortunate that my brother had access to all the Ambassador Program titles, as I'm sure there's a great deal of a bit more obscure information in them in terms of official names (including in other languages) due to their limited nature. A big prioity of mine is trying to add more bios and descriptions and the like, as that kind of information isn't used too much. I've even tried my hand at helping other NIWA wikis with what titles I have access to.

Anyway, things I plan on trying to find from digital manuals include WarioWare Gold, Luigi's Mansion, Mario Kart 7, New Super Mario Bros 2, and possibly more if I can get my hands on some things. I also recently found a bunch of old GameCube boxes with the manuals still in tact so I may try to lend a hand in that regard as well.--
:I added descriptions from the digital manuals for Mario Kart 7 and New Super Mario Bros 2. I also am adding bios from websites for games. Currently, I am mainly focusing on older websites such as ones for 3DS games and the remaining Wii U game sites, because I know they are closer to being taken down by Nintendo. 15:38, June 17, 2019 (EDT)
::Working from the Wii U sites is actually a great idea! I haven't yet bothered with descriptions from old sites, tho I do know my way enough around a lot of them to make it easy to do that if I can later on.--

LM3 images
The Luigi's Mansion 3 images you uploaded from Nintendo Life and Nintendo's E3 website were originally JPG files, uploaded as PNG files. In the future, please upload files in the same format as they were in the source, as converting between the two goes against our image use policy. 06:18, June 18, 2019 (EDT)
:Some images were web links, so I had to convert them in order for them to be uploaded. Should those kinds of files be converted anyway, or left alone? 12:19, June 18, 2019 (EDT)
::I see. They're image links now, so they must have changed them. A way to get around the web links was to go to "View page source" to find the image links there (that's how I got :File:Luigi's Mansion 3 Logo 2.jpg). 21:55, June 18, 2019 (EDT)
:::Oh yeah, I forgot about that. I'll make sure to use it in the future. 22:52, June 18, 2019 (EDT)

WMOD
Are you still working on that final episode? Looking at your sandbox, aside from the infobox and the parts taken from the Allergia Gardens article, you haven't touched it. 14:15, June 23, 2019 (EDT)
:I was planning to work on it later, but you can work on the two remaining sections instead. I'll allow you to copy/paste what I have for the episode's article (and only that article) into your sandbox; you'd probably do a better job on it than I would. 16:37, June 23, 2019 (EDT)
::OK. You look like you have a lot on your plate anyway. 17:17, June 23, 2019 (EDT)

Re:Game systems
Now, I usually do in fact specify which game system the Virtual Xonsole descriptions come from, but if a game has only ever been on one system on Virtual Console, then I usually just leave it as is. For example, Game Boy games on Virtual Console have only ever been on the 3DS, so I didn't really feel the need to specify that that's what Virtual Console they were from, as that's the only instance that's applicable. I guess including the descriptor is nice anyway, but I guess I didn't really think it was necessary.--
:That's what I thought; I just think it's best to include it in case the game gets released on Virtual Console for another system later (which is unlikely right now). 17:09, June 23, 2019 (EDT)

Re:Mr. Eraser
My bad, that was just a copypaste error on my part. I completely forgot to change the description as I was editing the page, so thanks for letting me know before I kept moving on with these. If it happens again, feel free to point it out I suppose. :P--

Re:YCW Boss filenames
These are the subfolders in <tt>/Game/Assets/Characters/Boss</tt>:
*<tt>BabyKoopa</tt> (Baby Bowser)
*<tt>BabyKoopaBig</tt> (Mega Baby Bowser)
*<tt>BossDonburi</tt> (Burt the Ball)
*<tt>BossPackun</tt> (Spike the Piranha), which (possibly coincidentally) shares its Japanese name with Petey Piranha
*<tt>BossPirateShip</tt> (Yarrctopus' ship), with Yarrctopus itself referred to as its "Cannon"
*<tt>GearWheel</tt> (Mr. Geary)
*<tt>GigaDawnA</tt> (The Great King Bowser)
*<tt>GigaDawnB</tt> (misc The Great King Bowser parts)
*<tt>Kamek</tt> (Kamek)
*<tt>KamekBig</tt> (Big Kamek)
*<tt>KamekGigaDawn</tt> (Kamek's version of The Great King Bowser)
*<tt>KamekSteelbird</tt> (Kamek's version of Tin-Can Condor)
*<tt>KamekWaniwani</tt> (Kamek's version of Gator Train)
*<tt>KarakuriArmor</tt> (Bushydo), despite not being a boss
*<tt>KarakuriKing</tt> (Shogun of Skewers)
*<tt>Steelbird</tt> (Tin-Can Condor)
*<tt>Tyrannosaurus</tt> (Skelesaurus), despite not being a boss
*<tt>Waniwanitrain</tt> (Gator Train)
Some of these may be using Japanese names, but since not all of them are up on the wiki, I don't know for sure. Also, a note: I think this is the first time I've seen developers use "Kamek", since they use "Kameck" practically everywhere else. == Mario Party 10 activities ==

Hey, I'd like to confirm where you found Play an epic party, Mario Party 10 style on the Play Nintendo website. I searched all over but couldn't find it at all on the site. 12:40, July 18, 2019 (EDT)
:I remember it being there, but I can't seem to find it either. I do remember it being on the Play Nintendo article originally, but it could have been taken off the website. 13:07, July 18, 2019 (EDT)

Play Nintendo games
Way to go adding all these games from play Nintendo to the wiki. We've got 99 on the list of games right now. 99. That's pretty insane. I myself have a sandbox with tons of content missing from the wiki. Super Mario fan 67 and Alex95 are working on helping me get it up. You can look at the sandbox if you want. It's easily accessible by looking at my recent edits. Lord Falafel (talk) 21:46, July 21, 2019 (EDT)
:That's great! I work on pages I plan to make in my own sanbox, which has a lot in it at the moment. One thing: the names of the Play Nintendo games' articles don't use their name that appears in the box that links to them, but rather the page's name on the tab it's in (For example: Not Do you know how to party?, but Super Mario Party Fun Trivia Quiz). Otherwise, good job on expanding the List of games! 09:05, July 22, 2019 (EDT)

Re:Crumples, Torque, and Dream Gem
Hello. I'm not working on articles for Crumples or Torque right now. You can work on those, if you'd like to. -- 13:26, July 25, 2019 (EDT)
2. Really, just follow the rules of the wiki. That should be obvious.
:OK. What about the Dream Gem article? Are you working on that one? Also, I like your new signature. 15:23, July 25, 2019 (EDT)
::I was actually working on that one for a while, but when I went to copy and paste it, my computer went out, so I had to basically rewrite it. I just finished. -- 09:09, July 26, 2019 (EDT)

Status
3. When responding with a "RE:" message, I'll usually put the same reply here, too. You can reply to either one. (If you have a preference, you can let me know if you want.)

Can I make a suggestion? If you're really done using a status, use Template:Delete at the top of the page with your status to get it deleted by an administrator. Only if you're not using it anymore, as I noticed it's no longer on your user page. -- 15:16, July 30, 2019 (EDT)
4. The page will be given an archive every 50 sections.
:I decided to remove my status box because I found it a bit overwhelming to update it every time my status changed. When I removed it, I still wasn't sure if I would simplify it to just a simple text box, or abandon it entirely. What I think I will do is use a specific navigation template if I know I will be inactive for a certain period of time. This would end up with my status' deletion, but if I end up wanting it back later, I can just re-add it. 16:07, July 30, 2019 (EDT)
::Sounds good. -- 22:07, July 30, 2019 (EDT)

:That's okay, I just didn't know if you knew or not. If you do, just let me know if you're continuing a project I spent too long on (I actually recommend doing this on articles I haven't started on). 19:28, December 9, 2019 (EST)
::OK, good to know. 19:30, December 9, 2019 (EST)
Hey, on a similar note, do you mind if I create pages for those Nintendo Kids Club games? This won't include the Nintendo Kids Club article itself, which I see is currently under construction in your sandbox. 20:32, December 11, 2019 (EST)
:Sure, go ahead. So far, I only have progress on Nintendo Kids Club and Mushroom Kingdom Create-A-Card, so any Play Nintendo-related articles other than those two should be available for you to work on. 20:56, December 11, 2019 (EST)

Taskmaster
YCW Worlds/Levels
How's it going with those Yoshi's Crafted World level articles? I can make articles for the worlds, if you are busy with the levels. Please let me know. I also see there is a discussion page for your sandbox, and I can put these messages on there from now on, if you'd like. 15:37, December 13, 2019 (EST)
:I've gotten farther, but I have been a bit slow with them; I suggest you make the level articles, because the world ones are much easier (and less time-consuming) for me to make. Also, I'm more likely to respond right away on this talk page, but you can use either one. 16:27, December 13, 2019 (EST)

Is there any confirmation the Taskmaster is the character Toad? 07:56, August 3, 2019 (EDT)
What is your friend code?
:He calls himself "Taskmaster Toad" in-game. Although he could be referring to the species or just be another character named Toad, I think it's most likely that the Taskmaster is the character Toad. 11:12, August 3, 2019 (EDT)
::While likely, this doesn't confirm for sure it's him. By your "(occupation) Toad" logic Captain Toad or Hint Toad would then be considered the character Toad. The best bet would be to simply create a "Taskmaster" page. 01:23, August 4, 2019 (EDT)

Mario Kart Tour "text" screenshots
Difficulty
Hi, I'm just informing you about why I've skipped all the "text" ones so far: because I treated them technically as not screenshots from the game directly, the text was added on top somehow. But since we've begun to upload some, I don't really see the harm in it. When I have time I intend to go back and upload all of them (and even split the Official Twitter section into further subsections for each Tour), but I can't guarantee when that will be. MarioComix (talk) 22:56, January 16, 2020 (EST)

I need your help uploading an image file. I don't wanna screw anything up and it's too complicated. I can't obey all those rules. I need someone with experience. Please help me. Ireallydontcare123456789 uploaded 2 images of Japanese McDonald's game watch games based on Mario games that we also got in North America. They come from a site called russetburbank.net and the games 123456789 uploaded were of Mario's Egg Catch and Princess Toadstool's Castle Run. I found one for Luigi's Hammer Toss. By copying his code by reading it and putting it in my memo rather than using a computer, I think this code might work. I will give you the code if you agree to help me. Personally, the optimistic part of me is hoping it will do something similar to what Crash Team Racing: Nitro Fueled did and eventually just have it all available afterwards, though honestly, the chances of that are depressingly low at this point. I'm pretty sure he did help too. Killer (talk) 18:04, August 27, 2019 (EDT)
Where did you get that name? You created this article with a "ref needed" template next to the name, but the mere fact that you gave it a title that requires an identifier in the first place (as opposed to simply calling it "Gold Mini Goomba" and adding a "conjecture" template) suggests that you have a good reason for doing so. Why would you give it that name if you don't know where it's from? 02:01, April 4, 2020 (EDT)
:The names for Gold Goomba (Paragoomba) and Gold Goomba (Goomba Tower) were from the Prima guide, and I thought Gold Mini Goombas were present in there too, but I wasn't entirely sure, so I included a "ref needed" template. While "Gold Goomba (Mini Goomba)" is a much worse name, I named it that for consistency with the other Gold Goombas. Looking back, I should have put in a "conjecture" template. 14:34, April 4, 2020 (EDT)
::Apparently, they're not in there. Regardless, there is no need to be "consistent" with Prima guide nonsense. If no official name exists, we should call it "Gold Mini Goomba" - the name any sane person would call them by. In fact, those other two articles should not be using those titles either. 21:10, April 4, 2020 (EDT)

Episode 1: Crafting articles on levels and browser games.

RULES:

1. No flaming or spamming.

2. Really, just follow the rules of the wiki. That should be obvious.

3. When responding with a "RE:" message, I'll usually put the same reply here, too. You can reply to either one. (If you have a preference, you can let me know if you want.)

4. The page will be given an archive every 50 sections.

My sandbox also has a talk page for discussing my projects. I'm likely to respond more quickly here, but you can message me wherever you want.

RE:Edit sniping[edit]

I wasn't aware you had that page in a queue until I tried uploading one of the greetings myself and discovered it was already uploaded. By then, I already had a full draft of the article ready. Sorry. -- KOOPA CON CARNE 19:19, December 9, 2019 (EST)

That's okay, I just didn't know if you knew or not. If you do, just let me know if you're continuing a project I spent too long on (I actually recommend doing this on articles I haven't started on). --DeepFriedCabbage 19:28, December 9, 2019 (EST)
OK, good to know. -- KOOPA CON CARNE 19:30, December 9, 2019 (EST)

Hey, on a similar note, do you mind if I create pages for those Nintendo Kids Club games? This won't include the Nintendo Kids Club article itself, which I see is currently under construction in your sandbox. -- KOOPA CON CARNE 20:32, December 11, 2019 (EST)

Sure, go ahead. So far, I only have progress on Nintendo Kids Club and Mushroom Kingdom Create-A-Card, so any Play Nintendo-related articles other than those two should be available for you to work on. --DeepFriedCabbage 20:56, December 11, 2019 (EST)

YCW Worlds/Levels[edit]

How's it going with those Yoshi's Crafted World level articles? I can make articles for the worlds, if you are busy with the levels. Please let me know. I also see there is a discussion page for your sandbox, and I can put these messages on there from now on, if you'd like. Lady Bow from Paper Mario. Green Star Lady Bow from Paper Mario. 15:37, December 13, 2019 (EST)

I've gotten farther, but I have been a bit slow with them; I suggest you make the level articles, because the world ones are much easier (and less time-consuming) for me to make. Also, I'm more likely to respond right away on this talk page, but you can use either one. --DeepFriedCabbage 16:27, December 13, 2019 (EST)

Thanks! I planned to look, but forgot to. I initially thought it was just a minor reference and they were different, bot now it makes more sense. It's the same as including appearances from the Zelda series. --DeepFriedCabbage 15:23, January 15, 2020 (EST)

Mario Kart Tour "text" screenshots[edit]

Hi, I'm just informing you about why I've skipped all the "text" ones so far: because I treated them technically as not screenshots from the game directly, the text was added on top somehow. But since we've begun to upload some, I don't really see the harm in it. When I have time I intend to go back and upload all of them (and even split the Official Twitter section into further subsections for each Tour), but I can't guarantee when that will be. MarioComix (talk) 22:56, January 16, 2020 (EST)

Ok, thanks for letting me know. I just thought it would be necessary to include all the screenshots, even the ones with text added. --DeepFriedCabbage 17:31, January 17, 2020 (EST)

FNC[edit]

The file, formerly titled File:Donkey Kong Jr. NES Cover.png is now File:Donkey Kong Jr NES Cover.png. It is used on your main page. Have a good one. Super Mario Bros. 3-style Ice Block in Super Mario Maker Wynn Liaw 22:51, Jan 17, 2020

Thanks! If there are any more file name changes, you can let me know in this section (until the page gets archived). --DeepFriedCabbage 23:14, January 17, 2020 (EST)

YCW Worlds & Levels[edit]

Thank you for letting me know. I am very close to beating the game itself 100%, and I plan to finish the other level articles soon (one a day). Once I’m done, I hope to improve the Yoshi’s Crafted World article itself in the hopes of it one day getting featured. Good luck with your next projects, and feel free to talk to me whenever you’d like. Lady Bow from Paper Mario. Green Star Lady Bow from Paper Mario. 21:28, January 19, 2020 (EST)

Thanks! I do plan to help out with the game's main article. --DeepFriedCabbage 11:08, January 20, 2020 (EST)

Color update[edit]

I have provided two alternate colors for the gamma image template. Trig - 17:23, February 14, 2020 (EST)

Thanks. --DeepFriedCabbage 15:02, February 19, 2020 (EST)

SMM2 Maker ID[edit]

Welcome back! I noticed you have your Super Mario Maker 2 Maker ID on your user page. I have played some of your levels and they're pretty fun. Would you like to try some of my levels? I only have one uploaded right now, but my Maker ID is KJR-8NK-PMG and the Level ID is Q86-R6C-GBG. It's a "short & sweet" "troll/mindgames" level, so if you enjoy those, you'll enjoy my levels. Lady Bow from Paper Mario. Green Star Lady Bow from Paper Mario. 09:39, February 20, 2020 (EST)

Thanks! I'd be interested in playing your level. --DeepFriedCabbage 15:27, February 20, 2020 (EST)

Fresh Juice proposal[edit]

Just making sure you know, but "Fresh Juice" is literally the name of Super Soda in PM64 in Japan, as given by Intelligent Systems. So it really can't be a "replacement." Doc von Schmeltwick (talk) 20:27, February 20, 2020 (EST)

I know. It can still just be a replacement with the same Japanese name. --DeepFriedCabbage 15:48, February 21, 2020 (EST)

I'm not one to talk[edit]

But you might want to be a tiny bit less passive aggressive about this. Maybe at least approach the user a bit more civilly, if nothing else? --ExdeathIcon.png Lord G. matters. ExdeathIcon.png 11:22, March 19, 2020 (EDT)

Yeah, good idea. I tried to be as formal as I could on their talk pages, but I really shouldn't have those kinds of edit summaries. --DeepFriedCabbage 11:36, March 19, 2020 (EDT)

Regarding Mario Kart Tour and its content[edit]

Personally, the optimistic part of me is hoping it will do something similar to what Crash Team Racing: Nitro Fueled did and eventually just have it all available afterwards, though honestly, the chances of that are depressingly low at this point. Doc von Schmeltwick (talk) 13:18, March 23, 2020 (EDT)

Oh, you read my edit summaries. I think the filler is mainly there so Nintendo can stretch out the game's lifespan of adding new content. When they're done, my guess is they'll just loop the tours. Hopefully they won't just take the game down and rip off everyone who spent a lot of money on the game. --DeepFriedCabbage 13:22, March 23, 2020 (EDT)

Gold Goomba (Mini Goomba)[edit]

Where did you get that name? You created this article with a "ref needed" template next to the name, but the mere fact that you gave it a title that requires an identifier in the first place (as opposed to simply calling it "Gold Mini Goomba" and adding a "conjecture" template) suggests that you have a good reason for doing so. Why would you give it that name if you don't know where it's from? Dark BonesSig.png 02:01, April 4, 2020 (EDT)

The names for Gold Goomba (Paragoomba) and Gold Goomba (Goomba Tower) were from the Prima guide, and I thought Gold Mini Goombas were present in there too, but I wasn't entirely sure, so I included a "ref needed" template. While "Gold Goomba (Mini Goomba)" is a much worse name, I named it that for consistency with the other Gold Goombas. Looking back, I should have put in a "conjecture" template. --DeepFriedCabbage 14:34, April 4, 2020 (EDT)
Apparently, they're not in there. Regardless, there is no need to be "consistent" with Prima guide nonsense. If no official name exists, we should call it "Gold Mini Goomba" - the name any sane person would call them by. In fact, those other two articles should not be using those titles either. Discord[edit]

Thanks for introducing me to discord. I have been making a series of mini-comics (about Luigi's Mansion) that I would be more than happy to share when the time comes. Lady Bow from Paper Mario. Green Star Lady Bow from Paper Mario. 19:54, April 14, 2020 (EDT)

You're welcome! I'll be glad to see your comics. --DeepFriedCabbage 21:34, April 14, 2020 (EDT)

Winged Timer Cloud[edit]

Quick question: when you made that article, do you remember if the name was mentioned anywhere in the game specifically, or was is it conjectural? LinkTheLefty (talk) 15:36, September 2, 2020 (EDT)

I don't remember too well about this, but I really don't think it was conjectural. I think it was on a website for the game, or mentioned in the game. --DeepFriedCabbage 23:29, September 2, 2020 (EDT)
The reason I ask is because I played the game casually and don't recall seeing it anywhere. I know it's not in a craft description. I don't see it on the website or in the livestream either. I might replay some of the earlier levels to see if I skipped a Message Block. LinkTheLefty (talk) 12:23, September 4, 2020 (EDT)

Checkpoint Bell[edit]

I saw you create the page for the object in Yoshi's Crafted World. By any chance, do you remember where you found the name for the item? Thanks. Mario (Santa)'s map icon from Mario Kart Tour Mario-HOHO! (Talk / Stalk) 17:02, August 28, 2022 (EDT)

I wish I could remember. I think someone else might have added it to the Yoshi's Crafted World page before I created the article. If not, then I just assumed it was called that somewhere in the game, and it would be conjectural. --DeepFriedCabbage 00:24, August 29, 2022 (EDT)
