:I suppose it doesn't really matter all that much, but every example in the [[MarioWiki:Citations#How_to_add_references|How to add references section of MarioWiki:Citations]] (including the section below it that shows the {{tem|ref needed}} template) shows the citation being included within the sentence's punctuations. {{User:Alex95/sig}} 13:34, June 27, 2019 (EDT) |

Citation punctuation[edit]
Hello. Just letting you know that punctuation goes after the reference tags (so "<ref>text</ref>." rather than ".<ref>text</ref>"), as is shown at MarioWiki:Citations. This is to group the reference with the sentence it's siting, as if it was part of the sentence itself. 16:55, June 21, 2019 (EDT)
- I suppose it doesn't really matter all that much, but every example in the How to add references section of MarioWiki:Citations (including the section below it that shows the {{ref needed}} template) shows the citation being included within the sentence's punctuations. 13:34, June 27, 2019 (EDT)
