Picture[edit]
We need a picture from the manga-Pal101
Good luck finding one, its as obscure as can be. -- Sir Grodus
Here are scans from Super Mario-Kun Volume 1 featuring a group known as "Mutant Ninja Sentai Nokonoko (Koopa Troopa) Man," whom everyone is saying are the Koopa Bros., the former being a more obvious spoof of TMNT than the latter (the scans originally posted in a blog that I own myself). The members are known as "Red Noko," "Blue Noko," "Yellow Noko," and "Green Noko", the same four-colored Troopas shown in SMW. This begs the question as to whether this group would truly be considered the "Koopa Bros.?" The manga-ka probably just wanted to do a TMNT joke without realizing that Paper Mario would do the same thing years later. - EnnCarbohydrate 18:40, 2 August 2018 (MST)
- Maybe we could still point out the striking resemblance in their article, just get rid of mention that it is them. Still, keep the description and images from the Super Mario-Kun that's actually them, and just move it further down the article past the release of that Paper Mario volume. Ray Trace(T|C) 21:46, 2 August 2018 (EDT)
- Changes have been made in the History section. I've also added the scan from the first volume for a show of comparison. - EnnCarbohydrate 20:00, 2 August 2018 (MST)
Merge[edit]
I think Red Ninjakoopa, Black Ninjakoopa, Yellow Ninjakoopa and Green Ninjakoopa should be merged here. The characters have, more or less, identical personalities and, aside from color and Red's position of leadership, no real differentiating attributes. Additionally, most information on the pages are almost the same, and I'm aware that Black, Green and Yellow appear alone briefly, but that doesn't really seem like enough. Vote on the poll, which will be open for at least a week, with three days added in case of a tie, to decide what to do. If the merge is successful, a "Members" section of the page could be made for each Koopa Bro., listing anything notable.

Comments[edit]
Well, Red deserves an article. The others can be merged.
So guys, whats your reason for wanting them to be kept seperate? -- Sir Grodus
I personally think Red is the oly one who deserves an article, because he has a different personality then the other 3. Max2 (talk)
They are all named characters and thus should have their own article. Would you like to see Mario and Luigi be merged with Mario Bros.?
Mario Bros. is a game, though. And they're both highly developed characters anyway, whereas the Koopa Bros. are exceptionally generic, having the same personalities and even their tattles are almost the same, with only minor differences; all four of their pages would pretty much have the same information as well. -- Sir Grodus
I thought it was agreed that every minor character (especially one named) have their own article. 16:30, 26 July 2007 (EDT)
What about Super Paper Mario Minor NPCs? That article seemed like a good idea, considering virtually every NPC in that game had a name; and the bulk of them don't really do anything. -- Sir Grodus
Well, most NPCs in the other Paper Mario Games did stuff. hey were almost always parts of troubles or the main plot. Max2 (talk)
Wow, I totally forgot about this; anyways, its been a week and the majority supports merge. -- Sir Grodus
I'm going to merge the articles tonight, as merge won six to four. -- Sir Grodus
Plumber: Mario and Luigi each deserve their own page. The Ninjakoopas don't because they're such minor characters, and as such don't because all of their pages basically have the same info, each a small amount, and should all be in one existing article. SaltyTalk! 01:15, 4 August 2007 (EDT)
What about the Axem Rangers? They all have their own pages. Why can't these too? They're the same thing, but turtle-tastic. D: Dazuro 19:26, 15 January 2008 (EST)
- Well, unlike the Koopa Bros., The individual Axem Rangers have different statistics (Defense, health, attack... ect) in Battle. --Blitzwing 19:34, 15 January 2008 (EST)
Dazuro: The poll was made months ago, and they're all merged Mr. Guy the Guy Talk!
What?[edit]
Um... where did the Koopa Bros. appear outside of this video-game? -User:Dodoman
Super Mario-kun. -- Sir Grodus
Manga, Japan only. -- Sir Grodus
Do you have any images? -Dodo
Unnamed blue koopa?[edit]
In the Black Ninjakoopa section, it says he was absent in the original artwork and was replaced by an unnamed blue koopa. I think it would be more rational to say that he was simply miscolored blue in the artwork instead. What do you think? ~DarkZero 17:07, 28 April 2008 (EDT)

Claim that Bob-ombs were replaced[edit]
Article states that the black bob-ombs fought in the Fortress were replacements supplied by Bowser; does it say this anywhere in game?
