A '''Tornado''' is an offensive item found in ''[[Mario Kart Arcade GP]]'', ''[[Mario Kart Arcade GP 2]]'', and ''[[Mario Kart Arcade GP DX]]''. When used, it is fired in a straight line, similar to the [[Green Shell]] and other straight-shot items, and stops when it touches a wall. Any [[kart]]s caught in the path of the tornado are lifted off the ground for a second before falling, slowing them down temporarily.
