In ''Super Mario Galaxy'' (at least in the original version), the [[1-Up Mushroom|1-up mushrooms]] included in the letter from Princess Peach are optional. If the player chooses not to accept them, they will be emergency rations for the [[Toad Brigade]]. However, in ''Super Mario Galaxy 2'', the player is not given an option and will always be given the 1-ups. I feel like this information should be included somewhere in the article. | |||

"The Mailtoad also appears in Super Mario Sunshine, though he does not deliver mail and goes unnamed."
If he doesn't deliver mail, then why in the world would we assume he's a mailtoad? Talk
- Because the Toad Brigade are the same Toads from Mario Sunshine only they were given stuff to do this game. The purple one just happens to be given the task to deliver mail. UrsulaBoi 16:30, 14 November 2007 (EST)
Should we have this article? It seems unfair to give him an article without giving the other 4 toads articles. He isn't more major than the others; the only thing that distinguishes him is that he has an official name, while the others don't. CrystalYoshi
- His name is important. Also, he is more major than the other members of the Toad Brigade, as the Mailtoad actually affects gameplay by increasing Mario's number of 1-Ups, which the other members do not do. -- Son of Suns (talk)
List of mail[edit]
Should we make a list of all the mail Mailtoad delivers to Mario/Luigi and also its content plus sender in Super Mario Galaxy 2? YL
There is already picture of letters delivered to Mario/Luigi in Super Mario Galaxy 2 shown in the wiki page "Letter", so check it out! 110.136.241.43
Lighting[edit]
Hello, is it just lighting, or does Mailtoad have a darker skin tone than the other Toads? --I do not have an account.

Peach's 1-Ups[edit]
In Super Mario Galaxy (at least in the original version), the 1-up mushrooms included in the letter from Princess Peach are optional. If the player chooses not to accept them, they will be emergency rations for the Toad Brigade. However, in Super Mario Galaxy 2, the player is not given an option and will always be given the 1-ups. I feel like this information should be included somewhere in the article.
