The Seal,[1] or Seal Pirate,[2] is a character dressed in a pirate outfit in Donkey Kong 64. He is first seen in Gloomy Galleon, where he is locked in a prison near the Lighthouse, but can be freed from Donkey Kong completing a Barrel Cannon course, also earning him a Golden Banana. The Seal challenges Donkey Kong in a boat race for another Golden Banana. The Seal is later seen again during the ending sequence in the water near DK's Tree House.
