The ''Our Hero'' series consists of an ongoing narrative, unlike the other comics in ''WarioWare: D.I.Y.'' The story involves a boy who goes on an adventure similar to a role-playing game, but with various strange twists: he uses a Popsicle stick and a table tennis paddle as a sword and shield, wears a tissue box, and is accompanied by a wad of flavorless gum.

Easy Money | "There's no such thing..." | A guy finds a button with a note that reads, "Want to be rich?" The guy presses the button, only to find a note reading, "This button won't help."
Arrested #3 | "Our detective and his soft side..." | The detective accuses Ms. Smith-Jones-Smith for a crime, who asks what she did. The detective answers that she stole his heart.

...Dog? #3 | "Larry's adjusting, but..." | The continuation of "...Dog? #1" and "...Dog? #2": the child mentions that Larry is adjusting well. He still doesn't walk on all fours, but he has learned to sleep like a dog. The child only wonders why his mother is so concerned.
DS Dad #3 | "Parents get lonely sometimes..." | The sequel to "DS Dad #1" and "DS Dad #2." The dad now thinks that "DS" stands for "David Stanley," and offers to tell the "long story" to his son. His son responds "Please don't."
New Game! #3 | "The ultimate game idea!" | An employee suggests a game where the main character has no goal, can't tell allies from enemies, gets everything wrong, and there is no reset button. The employee sadly calls the game "My Life." |
