The info there is true, but I remember there being a differently done Red Shell in Super Mario Advance that acted like a normal shell would in the other games. Was gonna add something about that, but asking here to be sure first. --{{User:Lord Grammaticus/sig}} 21:02, July 14, 2019 (EDT)
:They do seem to act differently in the remake, from what I can see [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=elmiCyTsYUw here], although I do not own the game so it would be nice if someone with the game could confirm. {{User:Doomhiker/sig}} 21:07, July 14, 2019 (EDT)

Backwards shells[edit]
People say you can make one track backwards. I've seen it several times online. I know it isn't "technically" meant but shouldn't we mention it at least? User:Mechayoshi
Well I don't know why someone has not put it. You have a good point there! I have seen it go backwards! YOU ARE RIGHT! User:Mario Kart 7 Rules (talk · edits) User:Mario Kart 7 Rules/sig 20:45, 25 February 2015 (EST)
PiT?![edit]
In Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time, there were Red Shells, right? I'm not far enough, but on the back of the case I saw Red Shells. Minimariolover10
- Yeah, they were in the game. They were a more powerful weapon than the Green Shell, and they could bounce into other enemies, if the case is they defeat one of the other enemies. My Bloody Valentine
Do we really need all these images?[edit]
After all, the images all look similar. It's pointless to have so many images of a red shell in this article. ~DarkZero 10:45, 22 February 2008 (EST)
- Agreed. In my opinion all we need is the Super Mario Bros. 2 and Mario Kart Wii image, plus the trophy from Melee. If we needed all of these images, then they should probably showcase the item in gameplay. --Bentendo 10:50, 22 February 2008 (EST)
- Uhm, gallery anyone? - Cobold (talk · contribs) 10:59, 22 February 2008 (EST)
- OK, a gallery is a good idea. This way, we're not wasting the images that others uploaded. ~DarkZero 11:37, 22 February 2008 (EST)
- Well, judging that every single Mario Party space has galleries, there's no reason for items not to have them. - Cobold (talk · contribs) 11:41, 22 February 2008 (EST)

Archived discussion from Triple Red Shells.
Merge?[edit]
Just like the situation on Talk:Triple Green Shells. Triple Red Shells is basically just three red Shells, so why don't we merge it with Red Shell? - Gabumon(talk) 06:37, 22 December 2009 (EST)
- For consistency's sake, go ahead. Though the images of the three shells for both the red and green variety will go to waste unless you use one. Redstar 20:47, 24 December 2009 (EST)

Super Mario 2[edit]
The info there is true, but I remember there being a differently done Red Shell in Super Mario Advance that acted like a normal shell would in the other games. Was gonna add something about that, but asking here to be sure first. -- Lord G. matters. 21:02, July 14, 2019 (EDT)
