Meteor Melee is a General Minigame in Mario Party: Island Tour. The minigame seems to take place in a forest-like village of Whittles, as a couple of them are seen next to their wooden houses next to the trees. Another Whittle can be found standing next to a pile of three logs on top of each other. They seem to be spectating the match, as they are seen jumping up and down in excitement for most of the minigame. It is probably very late at night, as it is seen that the sky is a midnight purple, almost pitch black, and the there is a full moon and it is huge.

Meteor Melee is a General Minigame in Mario Party: Island Tour. The minigame takes place in a forest-like village of Whittles, who can be seen spectating the match from the edges of the field.

Introduction[edit]

A purple Toad and a blue Toad will walk out onto the field, holding buckets. A star falls into the purple Toad's bucket, while the blue Toad is knocked over by a meteor.

Gameplay[edit]

In this minigame, the players have 30 seconds to catch as many stars as they can in buckets. The color of the competitor's bucket depends on what player they are, with blue for player 1, red for player 2, green for player 3, and yellow for player 4. Each star is worth one point. Meteors also fall from the sky, and the players must avoid catching them. Catching a meteor will not award the player any points, and it will also cause the player to be knocked over. Once the time runs out, any player who collected the most stars will win.
