Mario can defeat the Chain Chomp by [[Ground Pound|ground pounding]] on its pole, releasing the creature and make it collapse to a random wall or edge of the screen. Next, there is a high wall that cannot be jump over; instead, the player must use the Water Ball to proceed. The next area features two Chain Chomps, then a section starting with a [[Bill Blaster]], two sets of blocks and multiple Water Balls. Another section filled with Chain Chomps, trapped between two walls of blocks. The player will then come to the [[Checkpoint Flag]]. After that, there are several more Water Balls, after which is a [[Warp Pipe]] hiding in the fog. If entered, the player must swim through more Water Ball and escape the area. Then is the final section of the level, with Water Balls, Bill Blasters surrounding the area firing Bullet Bills onto the bubbles, and the [[Flagpole]].

World 7-2 is the second level of World 7 in New Super Mario Bros. Wii. This level features floating Water Balls needed to progress through the level. This is the only level in the game to feature regular Chain Chomps.

Layout[edit]

Mario begins the level near a Chain Chomp, three ? Blocks, two bricks, two coins, and a Water Ball. The middle ? Block contains a Super Mushroom. Mario must use the Water Ball to get up to a high surface, then use two more Water Balls to get across a gap. After a Bill Blaster which rises out from below, Water Balls begin to move differently, with some containing coins. Following three Chain Chomps, Mario reaches the midway point. There are then several Chain Chomps before more Water Balls Mario must use to cross over while avoiding Bullet Bills. The final section contains more Water Balls and Bill Blasters before Mario reaches the pole.
