: http://shrines.rpgclassics.com/n64/papermario/cooking.shtml - This page I believe is almost 100% accurate? (Except for a handful of typos, like the 3-item recipe or "Strange Fruit + Dried Leaf".) There is one small omission on that page; the list of items that can be made from a mystery is missing 5 entries: Sleepy Sheep, Dizzy Dial, Bland Meal, Big Cookie, and Kookie Cookie. If you get an item from cooking a Mystery it does count toward your recipe count on the chalkboard, but the Cake she makes you when you give her the Frying Pan does not. It says that Mushroom + Goomnut and Mushroom + Strange Leaf make Life Shrooms, which is does on JP, but it makes Volt Shrooms on English, which is what you have. It does say that Koopa Leaf + Mushroom makes a Volt Shroom, which is correct for English, but again it makes a Life Shroom on JP. I don't know if that version difference is within the article's scope. When I saw this page had more recipes listed for Volt Shroom that didn't involve Dried Fruit it gave me false hope of avoiding the fairly rough RNG required to get one. (I suppose there's a chance there were further changes from US to PAL that I don't know about and could be causing confusion about what makes what?) Anyway if you compare your article to that page you'll find your page has a lot of omissions and erroneous additions... Last thing, you need the Cookbook to cook just a Whacka's Bump or just a Strange Leaf; you'll get mistakes even though they're only 1-item recipes, if you don't have it. == Boiled Egg ==
I've cooked so many mysteries you wouldn't believe, and I've never seen a boiled egg. Fried Egg, yes, Egg Missile, yes. I think this person / these people might be confusing the boiled egg for these items. It's possible also it could be a version difference, as there are some involving recipes. I'd like video proof tbh of somebody opening a boiled egg from a mystery (and say which version you're on) because it would be news to me. {{unsigned|47.54.80.245}}
And I guess I just want to add that the % chance of cooking individual items was just guessed at and nobody actually knows. 50% mistake, and then divide the other 50% by the number of possible items. If boiled egg is a real recipe from a Mystery, then that guess has to change. Maybe just say about a 50% chance of cooking a mystery and leave it at that. {{unsigned|47.54.64.197}}
Alright the boiled egg can be cooked from a mystery on at least the US version. I might just have never gotten it on JP, or I forgot (most likely?), or I guess it could be a version difference. {{unsigned|47.54.66.176}}

This is a featured article!

It represents the best of the best that the Super Mario Wiki has produced. If there are any edits that would improve the article's quality even further, make them.

Nominating for FA[edit]

This looks like it's ready for FA status, but I already nominated 3 articles. I will have a discussion to see if this is actually ready. KS3 (talk · contribute) 16:36, 15 July 2010 (UTC)

I am really proud of this article, I will nominate it :) --TucayoSig.png The 'Shroom 18:52, 15 July 2010 (UTC)

FA[edit]

Featured article?? This page has about 100 mistakes. A LOT missing combinations, a handful recipes that don't work... No mention of what items a mystery can make...

It would help if you pointed out which combinations don't work and which are missing. Hello, I'm Time Turner. 12:24, 13 October 2016 (EDT)
Well here's a list from GameFAQs [1]. I'm not going to sort through that list to see what's missing or not. BabyLuigiFire.pngRay Trace(T|C) 13:56, 13 October 2016 (EDT)
