One hot day in New York, Mario is trying to beat the heat by swimming. Upon diving into his kiddy-pool, it pops because of a lump of dirt. The lump of dirt is actually Bottles from the Banjo-Kazooie series. Mario is angered by this, so Bottles tries to make it up to him. Bottles takes Mario to Hawaii via a hole he digs through the earth. Once in Hawaii, the two get into various shenanigans, such as entering a golf tournament. In the latter case, they ruin the course, and the comic ends with Mario chasing Bottles into the horizon.
