The Desert is the fifth world in the Game Boy version of Donkey Kong. The Desert features an Egyptian setting with pyramids and tombs. Mario can use Super Hammers to break through walls in the tombs. The Desert stages increase the complexity of the puzzle elements in the game. In one stage, Mario has to take the key up several stories to the door, by only using ladders, roads and springs. The Desert has 12 stages.
