Split?[edit]
For Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga, all of the Bros. Moves are given individual articles: High Jump, Mini Mario, Luigi Dunk, Fire Tickle, etc. Is there any reason all of the Trio Moves here are merged into a single article, or can they be split? Hello, I'm Time Turner.
- As the creator of this article, feel free to split it. I was unaware of the individual articles, and I didn't think the individual moves would have enough substance to carry their own articles. Phineas81707 (talk) 20:33, 9 January 2016 (EST)
- If we split this shouldn't we split all the Mario and Luigi overworld moves which as of now remain merged. Keeps consistency. NSY (talk)
- Which other ones are currently merged? Off the top of my head, I can't think of any. Hello, I'm Time Turner.
- Only the Spin Jump has it's own article and that's merged with the 3D games. Most Luiginary Works are merged for example. NSY (talk)
- There's actually a good point in there: the Luiginary Works are merged. Both them and these moves are highly implied to be one-time things: Paper Mario and Dreamy Luigi are highly unlikely to reappear in future Mario & Luigi games. The moves you've highlighted could/do. - Ball Hop and Side Drill, from the same game, are also split. Trying to figure out which moves has a greater chance of appearing in another game is speculation and, frankly, not something the wiki should be concerned about. The Luiginary Works not having articles is simply a gap in our coverage. Hello, I'm Time Turner.
- Ball Hop and Side Drill also have nothing to do with Dreamy Luigi. I'm fine either way, but your arguments are starting to lose water. Phineas81707 (talk) 23:42, 9 January 2016 (EST)
