In this level, there are Spiked Balls and Giant Spiked Balls that can hurt the player, they can also destroy Dry Bones. It is set above a pool of lava with moving platforms. The castle features two areas, the first area being composed of pendulum platforms that dip into the lava, and the second area being highly infested with Spiked Balls, which drop from the ceiling in vast numbers.
The level begins near a pendulum platform with ? Blocks above it, one of which contains a power-up. More pendulums follow, with Lava Bubbles found jumping out of the lava. Dry Bones on a row of bricks are found above some Lava Bubbles and platforms. More pendulums follow, along with Spiked Balls. The midway point is found at the end of the area, along with a Warp Pipe leading to the next section. Through the Warp Pipe, a Lava Bubble is found, along with a ? Block containing a power-up. Metal platforms are found moving in the lava, with Spiked Balls falling from a spiked platform above. A Star is found in an Invisible Block above a brick. More pendulum platforms are found, along with some Big Dry Bones. A ledge is found with a ? Block containing a power-up is found above an Invisible Block, followed by the boss door.

The player faces Morton Koopa Jr. again in this castle. The room's floor is composed of six stone pillars, which Morton uses in his offensive tactics. When Kamek casts his magic, at first nothing looks different except the stone pillars have slightly lowered. When he gets close enough to a player, he will jump and ground-pound, causing the pillars on opposite sides of him to shoot up to the ceiling, which will kill the player(s) if they get crushed. Morton will also slide in his shell when hit, trying to hit players. Unlike his tower battle, Morton does not use his magic and his ground pounds will not stun players who are on the ground. Upon Morton's defeat by the third hit, the key to leave the castle will appear.

World 6-Castle is the castle of World 6 in New Super Mario Bros. Wii. It is unlocked by either completing World 6-5 by finding the secret exit, or by completing World 6-6 through the normal exit.

Layout[edit]

When Magikoopa casts his magic, at first nothing looks different except the stone pillars have slightly lowered. When he gets close enough to a player, he jumps and Ground Pounds, causing the pillars on opposite sides of him to shoot up to the ceiling, which instantly causes the player to lose a life if they get crushed. Morton also slides in his shell when hit, trying to hit players. Morton may get stuck between the pillars if they are lifted before the player hits him. Unlike his tower battle, Morton does not use his magic and his ground pounds do not stun players who are on the ground. Upon Morton's defeat by the third hit, the key to leave the castle appears.
