- The New Donk City Hall stage in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate shows the Odyssey with 21 Power Moons in stock (pictured); however, the Odyssey needs 55 Power Moons to reach the Metro Kingdom in Super Mario Odyssey.
- In the Japanese version of Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga, the attack bonus for the Mush Badge was reduced significantly.
- The song "An Arrow in the Side of Final Fantasy" from the album Has a Good Home by Owen Pallett uses the melody of the star stage's music from Super Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins.
