The Banisher is Dry Bones' default signature kart in Mario Kart DS. It is an off-road buggy in the shape of Dry Bones himself, featuring the top part of his skull, his shell and his ribs, with large wheels. The emblem is located on both sides of the shell. It has excellent acceleration (under the Standard DB and the Dry Bomber), handling, and items; as well as above-average weight. However, it is the slowest vehicle in the game, and its drift is also rather low. Its weight is tied with the Power Flower and Zipper, and its drift is tied with the Dragonfly.
The kart is unlocked for Mario and Yoshi as well when the player gets gold trophies in all Nitro or Retro Courses in 150cc, and becomes available for everyone else when gold trophies are obtained in every cup in 150cc Mirror Mode.
