Don't Look is a Free-for-All minigame found in Mario Party 9. The concept of this minigame is similar to that of Look Away from Mario Party 2; however, players are now trying to look away from an external force instead of another player.

Don't Look is a Free-for-All minigame found in Mario Party 9 and Mario Party: The Top 100. This is the only minigame in Mario Party 9 with no music and one of only two minigames in Mario Party: The Top 100 to have no music, the other being Mario Speedwagons.

Introduction[edit]

The players are seen standing on the floor. They move while three groups of arrows appear.

Gameplay[edit]

The minigame consists of 10 rounds. During each round, blue arrows pointing in different directions appear. The objective is to make the character look in the direction that the arrows are not pointing at the moment. There is only one arrow in the first two rounds, two arrows in the next four rounds, and three arrows in the last four rounds. With each passing round, there is less and less time for the player to think of where to make the character look. The player will lose the round if they look in the wrong direction or fail to look within the time limit. The player who beats the most rounds wins.

The background in this minigame is almost identical to the background of the Toad Houses in New Super Mario Bros. Wii, except without the ? Block patterns.

Toad, Koopa Troopa, Shy Guy, and Kamek stand on stools when participating in this minigame, due to being short, just like in Card Smarts. However, Koopa Troopa and Kamek stand on short stools, while Toad and Shy Guy stand on tall stools, since Koopa Troopa and Kamek are taller than Toad and Shy Guy. Toad and Shy Guy also stand on stools in Pizza Me, Mario and Launch Break. The stools are absent in Mario Party: The Top 100 since all four characters are not playable (Toad being a host, Koopa Troopa and Shy Guy being NPCs, and Kamek being absent altogether).
