I believe advertisements can be seen at least by June or July, which seems to discredit the September date. If the earliest mention of one of those flyers can be found, that should be a much better candidate for the general release date of the PlayChoice ''Dr. Mario''. It's been pointed out on several occasions that Masumi Akagi's book (or at least, that edition of it) is unreliable, so let's find a better source for a release date. Does anyone know when one of these entered circulation? It indicates that the PlayChoice Dr. Mario, along with TMNT II, Yo! Noid, Nintendo World Cup, Rad Racer II, Solar Jetman, and Mega Man 3 were released at around the same time. I believe advertisements can be seen at least by June or July, which seems to discredit the September date. If the earliest mention of one of those flyers can be found, that should be a much better candidate for the general release date of the PlayChoice Dr. Mario.
