Flippin' Out is a single-player minigame found in Mario Party Advance. Its name is derived from an expression that refers to when someone becomes crazy or very excited or mad.
Introduction[edit]
The character runs away from a wall sliding toward them, then jumps on the first peg as the minigame starts.
Gameplay[edit]
The player must get across to the goal peg by using the pegs in the area within the time limit. There are four types of pegs: a green peg, a red peg that occasionally disappears, a blue peg that moves either vertically or horizontally along a track, and the goal peg, which marks the end of the area. If the player runs out of time or falls into the lava below, they lose.
In the Shroom City and Mini-Game Attack modes, the player must reach the goal peg before time expires in order to win. Unlike in most of the single-player minigames in Mini-Game Attack, there are no alterations from the Shroom City version. In Play Land, the player earns points every time they finish a level, as well as increasing the timer by eight seconds; the score they earn is equal to the amount of time remaining when they reach the end of the level multiplied by ten.
