| Not to be confused with [[Fly Guy]] or [[Sky Guy]], '''Flying Shy Guys''' first appeared (and only appeared) in ''[[Yoshi's Story]]''. They were different from Fly Guys (which also appeared in the game) due to the fact that they flew via little helicopters on their backs. The Flying Shy Guy would fly around dangling fruit just out of Yoshi's reach, but could be defeated like any other [[Shy Guy]]. An exception was the elite [[Black Shy Guy]], a Flying Shy Guy crossed with an elite Shy Guy.
