Blue Paratroopas

Blue Paratroopas are a group of three Koopa Paratroopas in Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story. Mario and Luigi first encountered the trio after they hit the giant Blue Shell Block. After some quick arguing, the leader of the Blue Paratroopas silenced them and told Mario that the Blue Shell fit him nicely. The leader taught the Mario Bros. how to use Shell Mario with a training exercise. After completing the exercise, the Mario Bros. were awarded with all the Attack Pieces for Yoo Who Cannon.

The Mario Bros. encountered the Blue Paratroopas again in the lower eastern portion of Peach's Castle Grounds. Mario and Luigi hit an Attack Piece Block which contained seven Attack Pieces. As a result, the trio flew over and argued about who the Attack Pieces belonged to. The leader decided to settle the argument with a payment of 30 coins. When Mario and Luigi replied that 30 coins wasn't much, the leader raised the fee to 300 coins. The other two Blue Paratroopas were stunned at the high amount. The leader compensated for the high fee by telling the Mario Bros. where the remaining three Attack Pieces were and circled the locations on the map. The leader also hinted that the Attack Piece Blocks were invisible.

The Blue Paratroopas made their last appearance in the game when Dark Bowser had released the dark wind over the citizens of the Mushroom Kingdom.

Trivia

• The Blue Paratroopas heavily resemble the Dark Paratroopas from Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door and Super Paper Mario.
