Magical Catch is a special ability in the two games, Mario Superstar Baseball and Mario Super Sluggers. Only Magikoopas can use this ability. The Magical Catch allows Magikoopas to grab balls from a distance, much like Yoshi's Tongue Catch and Birdo's Suction, with greater range, but slower execution. Magikoopa's Magical Catch never fails to catch the ball also, unlike Tongue Catch and Suction.
The Magical Catch returns in the game Mario Super Sluggers with the exact function. No scout missions revolve around Magical Catch, however. Template:MBSM
