Hiyoihoi, guardian of the Easton Kingdom.

Hiyoihoi is the third boss in the game Super Mario Land. He resembles a large Tokotoko stone enemy (and, as such, looks like a real world Easter Island statue, also known as a moaui). During Tatanga's invasion of Sarasaland, the alien invader placed Hiyoihoi in charge of the Easton Kingdom, the third world of Sarasaland. As such, Hiyoihoi had the important task of not only protecting his kingdom, but also protecting the entrance to the Chai Kingdom, Tatanga's base-of-operations.

In battle, Hiyoihoi attacks by throwing Ganchan boulder enemies at Mario. To defeat Hiyoihoi, Mario had to jump on top of these boulders and fire Superballs at the rock guardian. After enough hits, Hiyoihoi was defeated and Mario liberated the Easton Kingdom. Alternatively, Mario could simply jump over Hiyoihoi and press the strange button behind the rock creature. This would instantly destroy Hiyoihoi, thus liberating the Easton Kingdom. Either way, Mario was awarded 5000 points for defeating Hiyoihoi and was allowed to progress into the Chai Kingdom.
