The Star Sages were a group of three characters who kept the Star Cures away from enemies during the events of Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story. The three sages were Wisdurm of Dimble Woods, Kuzzle of Plack Beach, and Chakron of Plack Beach as well. Each of them were supposed to guard a Star Cure, waiting for the 'hero to arrive', according to Wisdurm.

Wisdurm, the first Star Sage, was inside the giant carrot Bowser ate in Dimble Woods, causing Bowser to have immense stomach problems.
