Fangfish are carnivorous fish enemies encountered in many of the underwater levels of Donkey Kong Land. Its name is a play on the words "fang" and "fish".

These large enemies appear in the few underwater levels of Kremlantis. They usually appear swimming back and fourth, blocking much of the Kongs' path. Because of their large body mass, Fangfish are quite similar to Chomps, as both are large fish. Though this is true, however, Fangfish are slightly bigger than Chomps. Additionally, both are somewhat slow enemies that attack Donkey Kong and Diddy Kong without remorse.
