Stone is a status effect in the game Paper Mario. Mario gains this status when he uses a Stone Cap. The animation for the Stone status depicts Mario crouched and constantly blocking. While in Stone form, Mario is impervious to enemy attacks. However, it also prevents him from using attacks.
The Invisible status grants the same invulnerability as the Stone status, but still allows Mario to use attacks.
