Trivia
- Flying Mario's clothes' color scheme is identical to one of the flashing sequences of Invincible Mario in Super Mario Bros.
- Strangely, Flying Mario cannot access the planet containing the Trial Galaxies on his own. Mario will hit an invisible wall and fall back down to the Comet Observatory.
- When using codes to access this form at any time, one can go to Good Egg Galaxy's first mission and fly to an unused E3 planet.
- Super Mario Galaxy 2 can be hacked to play as Flying Mario, but he doesn't change to his red and black suit.Template:Refneeded
